A Thank You in the Paper "Bag"

This little paper bag was made a a thank you gift for a great lady, Darlene who covered my job at the church office while I was out on vacation. It is filled with 3x3 note cards and envelops.

Elements of Style

This card is using Elements of Style Stamp set (#118611 wood, 120045 clear) from the Summer Mini Catalog.  Using my new favorite color Crumb Cake Classic Ink pad (#121030), Stamp 1/2 of a 8 1/2 x11 sheet of very vanilla card stock (#101680).
Die cut 1/4 sheet of Crumb Cake card stock (#120953) using the exclusive Stampin Up Top Note die (#113463). Sponge the edges with Crumb Cake Ink and Stamp using Soft Suede Classic Ink Pad (#115657). Tie on ribbon. Stamp hummingbird on very vanilla and cut out. Stamp verse and punch out using Designer Label Large (#119862).

 Add Brads and Hodgepodge Hardware vanilla (#112454) over punched verse. Glue Top Note piece to card front. Dimensional (double sided stick foam pieces, giving your art work "dimension" (#104430) hummingbird to card front. Stamp flower by using Regal Rose Stampin' Write marker (#105108)directly on the stamp and cut out. Dimensional to card front. Remember to stamp the envelope!

Celebrating my honey's 50th birthday with family and friends! 50 may suck, but the cup cakes were amazing!

In Memory of my Mom

Here is my mom just this past Easter. She never knew she had lung cancer. Mom passed away on Monday June 28. Funeral will be in El Paso at Fort Bliss. Memorial service on Thursday July 8 at 6:30pm at New Providence Baptist Church. Memorial donations can be made to the church for a butterfly garden and trees at the church.
