I am so excited about the way this cake turned out. It is not easy copying a cartoon, especially in frosting free handed and get it to turn out looking like the actual cartoon! My Mickey really looks like Mickey! I used 2 round cake pans to create the base for the head, and free handed the details. I have to say... I was kinda stressed about this one.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY
I love this stamp "Be My Valentine" from the Occasions Mini. It is just $8.95! Paired with one of my favs Notably Ornate stamp set on pg 125 in the Idea book and Catalog. I used Bravo Burgundy, Vanilla and Soft Suede card stock. Soft Suede ink. I used the new Textured Impressions Embossing Folder "Framed Tulips" from the Occasions Mini as well. I think if Stampin Up carried 1,000 embossing folders I would have to have all of them. I love the effect they put on card stack. The folders are super easy to use and makes plain paper look like very expensive. It gives your cards that little something special. I used a dauber and rubbed Soft Suede ink over the embossed area to make it pop and give it a bit of an aged look. Hope you enjoy it. There is a new Valentine share coming tomorrow - so stay tuned! Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy the posts and are inspired to stamp something beautiful.
TALL MATCHBOX
The lid is made out of the Matchbox die cut found on my Stampin Up website. The box bottom is a card stock cut 7" x 7 1/2" and score all sides 2 1/5". Snip along the score lines and trip the corner edges to remove some bulk at corners. Fold and glue to form bottom of box. Top with the matchbox lid and tie on ribbon. So cute and easy!
ICY SUNNY DAY
Yes there are beautiful days in the dead of winter in Indiana! Even after an scary ice storm. We weathered it well, had power all but 1/2 hour. The bottom picture may look like a layer of snow on the ground - but it is really ice and very slick now that the sun has melted it a bit. What do you do on an ice day? Make yummy food and stamp!
CHOCOLATE CRAFTS
These little chocolate crafts are for Candace's 13th Birthday party. The picture holder is a 1/4 of a 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of card stock with a little embellishment. The open area is just waiting for a favorite photo to be added. The little note book is covered with white card stock and stamp. The birthday party girls will enjoy making these little gifts.
BLUEBERRY CRISP
Judy Hacker made this card using out amazing Blueberry crisp designer background paper. Glue strips of background paper on a scrap of paper at least 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 and then run through the Big Shot using the Top note die. You get this patchwork quilt piece. You can also use square punched pieces for a different look.
