Nature Walk 3x3

Lets make this great 3"x3" note card. I planned to share this at a workshop in June, but that plan fell through, so I will share with all of you. Sorry this photo is a bit blurry, there is a better one at the end of this post. 

You will need a 3"x6" white card stock, fold 1/2 to make a 3"x3" note card. A 3"x3" envelope and a scrap of white card stock.

Using one of my fav's Nature Walk Stamp Set (w) #121925 (c) #121997 catalog pg 79. Ink the floral stamp in Old Olive Ink and stamp one time on folded card front.

Stamp again without re-inking creating a lighter shade of inked image ("second generation" is what that little tip is called), then stamp again without re-inking creating a "3rd generation" creating a even lighter shade of inked image. This technique give you a whole patch of weeds flowers! Time Saving Tip: Stamp your envelope at the same time you stamp your card.

Stamp the butterfly in Marina Mist Ink on the envelope and the scrap white card stock.

Cut out the butterfly from the scrap card stock. Add a dimensional to the back side and attach to card front.

Stamp Cajun Craze Ink on Crumb Cake Taffeta Ribbon. Let dry a little bit.

Glue the ribbon across bottom of card edge.
