Party Banner Package Pal Swap

I signed up for a package pal swap and this is my gift for my pal. A Celebrate banner and garland. She told me in an email that she loved to plan themed parties. So I thought to myself, self,  "if she loves parties she would like a party banner" (well I hopped anyway). The banner is made in neutral colors so she can tie on ribbons, and balloons in the party colors.

I just love the little scalloped banner that I made go to with it, or use alone.

Here is a close up of the little scallop banner. I punched out the scallop circles, folded in half and hot glued them on crochet thread. Added a tied loop at each end, so the banner can be looped over a tree limb, or shelf corner or what ever, where ever needed to hang up a little party cheer.

Notice the pillows in the background. I got the pillow covers all finished. I am very pleased with the turn out. So love the fabric.
ENJOY AND
HAPPY CELEBRATION TO YOU!

Dude Cards part 5

With a little change in greetings, this would make a great graduation card or happy 4th of July card.

I just add to add a bit of sparkle to the dragonfly wings, well they sparkle in the sun anyway right.

STAMP AND PUT JOY IN YOUR DAY!

Dude Cards part 1

I hosted a card class last week to make cards for dude's, and so I thought you might like to see some of the fun. Dude cards can be challenging sometimes. I tend to want to glam things up with glitter, flowers, lace and rhinestones. But with dude cards you can't always use a bit of lace or glitter. So the next few posts will be focused on the dudes in our lives. Hope you are inspired by these.

Will hold money, gift card, and movie/concert tickets tickets.
ENJOY!

Hats off to You

I like to recycle old things and trash into new wonderful things. How about you? Well being a Stampin Up demonstrator and loving the product as I do. Sometimes I have lots of little round button/eyelet/brad boxes left over... so what to do with them you ask?
How about making hats out of them?
Here is a close up. All I did is punch out the round cover for the top of the box and then punched some cute flower and scallop circles to add a little design to the cover. Then a larger scallop circle for the base to make a "rim".  Add some sticky tape to fun the ribbon around and tied it in a bow. Fill with treats or embellishments.
You may have one for free while they last. Just book a workshop and one of these little chocolate filled hats will be yours as a thank you gift. Contact me to set a date.

Double pocket carding using beautiful background papers. Well OK I will post a "how to" for this one as well. Only because I love ya all to pieces!

Scrap book page using white embossing powder and then tracing the flowers with the versa marker to give it a pop off the page look! Oh love it.
The flower stamp made into a butterfly cut by cutting out 2 petals across from each other. This is the make and take that everyone that came to the workshops got to make. So stink'in cute!
