Butterfly Window

This beautiful card was made by Crista Miller and I was blessed to received it as a swap. I had to share this great idea and show you what I came up with from the inspiration. I love this card Crista, thanks so much for coming up with it for our swap.

This is a great idea to use up strips of scrap background papers. Cut the white card stock to 3 3/4" x 10", fold 1/2, run the front through a embossing folder of your choice. You can find some great ones here.  Glue that to the center of a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" colored card stock. Punch the butterfly in the front of the card. Cut the designer series background paper large enough to fit behind the butterfly and to show through. Mine is about 2 1/2" x 3 3/4". Glue to lower edge of inside of card. Use the punched out butterfly to glue to inside and stamp a little greeting on it. I used a rhinestone in the center for the butterfly to give it some razzle dazzle bling!
You can use any shape punch for the "window". Have loads of fun creating a few of these fun cards for your own stash. Click on any of the highlighted underlined words to get to the order page to get these great products for yourself.
Happy Window Punching!
