Happy Birthday to Me

Yes I had a birthday! We all get one every year right! Sometimes we celebrate and sometimes we would like to just forget it. My dear father-in-law who is 86 says as one more passes, its just one more year closer to heaven!

I want to share a few of the cards I received from some very dear friends. The adorable dog card above is by Crista Miller and I just love love love it. That is the cutest dog card ever.

This fun loving brightly colored card is by Deb Luers. It made me smile. She knows me - a lie about your age isn't really a lie...... is it?!?

Tips for Using the Precision Base Plate If you like detailed die cuts, you're going to love our new Precision Base Plate (item 139684) from this year's holiday catalog. The steel plate gives you extra-fine cuts with minimal effort and makes you look like a paper crafting pro!

To preserve your cutting pad and produce optimal results, please use the Precision Base Plate with the Multipurpose Platform, not the Magnetic Platform. The manufacturer also recommends that you (1) flip your cutting pad and use the opposite side after every use; and (2) avoid cutting in the exact same place every time, especially when using the same die repeatedly.

Watercolor Gardens

I am really still here! I can't believe a month has passed since I posted. So sorry. I having a bit of trouble sleeping tonight, so thought I would stay up and get some posts done.

We have had some devastating news this week. My husband "handsome" has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The prognosis is good and surgery is Friday. So if you think of me on Friday, would you pray for us. We are at peace, but we do have our moments of tears, worries and fear.

This get well card is kinda fitting for this post today. I shared this with my sorority group ladies as a fund raiser.. They were all very simple quick cards as most have never stamped before. This stamp set is one of my all time favorites and an oldie but goodie for those who still own it. HOpe you enjoy the idea.
