Where is the _______

You fill in the blank! I cannot fine anything to create with. Every craft, sewing, painting, stamping, item that was in The Stamp Pad has been moved... to five, yes five rooms in my home. It was six, but we had to clear out dads room because he is coming home this weekend. And I am sure he would like a bed to sleep in! It looks like someone took a blender and mixed things all up.
It is in the new dining room.
In the new garden room.... ya it is new and already a mess!
 In the library.
And two piles in the living room. This is just one.
Now this is where it really belongs, in The Stamp Pad! ha! Notice the new floor to the left of the picture... that is the new tile floor! Yippie!
And a pile on the table in The Stamp Pad.. Notice the new carpet? Doing the happy dance. Stay tuned for more before and afters and progress to The Stamp Pad.

Before and After Mirrors

I have some before and afters to share with you today.
This is the before bathroom shot. I almost forgot to get the picture. You can see the mirror on the wall in its before state. My sweet son made the shelf - oh don't ya just love it. I do! And it will be going back in there once we are done with this room. We are almost 100% done with it, and so I will post the before and afters of the bathroom when it is all done.

But I did want to share the mirrors before and after.  This is one of two mirrors that we have had since we were first married. A friend gave them to me and I just love them. They were gold when we got them and we painted them this creamy light tan color and had them over our bathroom sinks for years. Well since we are just about done in the bathroom and had replaced the fixtures and such with brushed silver. And after putting in all the creamy light tan tile, it was to much creamy light tan. So we gave them a good spray!

Ohh I love it. so fresh, new and perfect for the new bath. I can't wait to show you the finished bath. Stay tuned.

For the Birds

This is just the cutest card. This month card club was all about "For the Birds" stamp set. We made quick easy cards and for those who love to color, we colored in a lot. This is a great set with lots of uses for many occasions. Check it out on my web site at www.debbiebuchanan.stampinup.net and order yours today. This card was shared at the Stampin Up convention.

Crown Before and After

We had a big hole in the living room for a night. This corner was never right! Well after getting into it, we found that the framing wasn't even connected correctly, and it caused the dry wall to move and the paper and tape to wrinkle, and crack and look horrid. No picture could ever cover it either. So we stared at that mess for 16 years!  The rip off artist that built the house would never come back to make things right.
Pretty  huh! There was lots of patching and nail pops that happened in adding the new garden room off the back of the house. I don't usually paint in white spots on the wall! Ha! I save that for stamping projects.
Well here is the new crown molding. Oh my gosh it made the room look bigger and more grand. We love it. When I got home from work the day that Pat completed it.... I walked in, mouth gaping, and said, "oh my, it is so big!". Pour Pat had a worried look, thinking it wasn't what I wanted. I then said, "it is so beautiful". He breathed a sign of relief and said I am glad you changed the "B" word. I was so impressed, it is so beautiful. It is exactly what I wanted, just a bit bigger then I had expected, even though we picked all the wood out and saw it before it went up. I didn't picture it so grand.
This is the new paint color too. A bit more tan and lighter then the old. It is ok, it is growing on me. Handsome really likes it. So that makes me happy, because it really didn't care for the old color. Once I cover it up with painting and picture and stuff ya won't see much of it! haha. I am just glad it matched and border, and super happy we were able to save it!

New Photopolymer Stamp Sets

(click on any of the pictures to enlarge flyer)
We've searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And we've found it. We're excited to announce that we now have wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps! The new photopolymer will be an addition to our stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. Our top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let's just say they're meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in our traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.
What makes them so great?
  • They're entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
  • They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
  • Can you say sticky? (Don't worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
  • They're age tested. They won't yellow or cloud up over time.
  • We could go on, but we'll let you try them for yourself.
They are clearly a great choice.
